Tempest Mixer Pressure Gauge

The reading on the pressure gauge of a CD dispenser is not the resin pressure. Rather, it is the air pressure delivered to the main air cylinder. Although a table in the Service and Operations Manual charts the ratio of the air pressure to the resin pressure, skeptical clients may nevertheless insist upon a gauge reading fluid pressure. The Tempest Pressure Gauge (LC-650) serves this purpose.

A gauge port is located just beyond the base resin inlet of the Tempest Mixer, and ahead of the catalyst inlet so that it is not exposed to catalyzed material. The gauge is stainless steel. The pressure range is 0 to 1,000 psi.
