The CD-200 is a high-volume dispenser for the application of high friction surfaces, parking garage traffic systems, bike and bus lane demarcations, bridge deck overlays, primers, and healer/sealers. Dispense rates of up to 200 gallons per hour are available. The CD200 is pneumatically operated and utilizes self-monitoring air logic to ensure ratio accuracy.
GENERAL CLEANING
Most epoxy resins may be left in the unit for a period of time with no problems because the resin components are not joined together within the dispenser. No flushing of the inside of the unit is required.
DAILY CLEANING
1. Dispose the static mixer
2. Clean threads on the dispenser nozzle and mixer retaining nut with solvent
3. Apply grease to the threads to prevent epoxy from bonding to the components making it easy to remove nut during future cleanings
4. Wipe down metering pistons with solvent and apply grease
EXTENDED SHUTDOWN
Although resin components within the unit are not mixed, they will crystallize over time. Therefore, it is recommended that the entire system be flushed with Acetone or Methyl Ethyl Ketone to remove accumulations of resin from the unit. The solvent should then be followed with hydraulic fluid to keep the system well lubricated until it is used again.
